I have been a student at Wayne Jones Eduhouse since Secondary 1, and I am ever-grateful for having Wayne and his team as my tutors for Mathematics, for besides attaining an A for the subject at A Levels, I have been inculcated with valuable skills for life such as being analytical and quick-thinking during problem-solving. The WJE programme is unique and well-structured – summary lessons and practices highlight key concepts which are eventually consolidated through weekly tests and a generous array of full examination papers on top of carefully-curated challenging questions as homework. All these then culminate in the Hunger Games, the ultimate trial of our knowledge, skills and time-management before our Preliminary Examinations. In preparation for this programme, there is no shortage of resources – students are equipped with handy Edu-Bookmarks, booklets and customised notebooks to accompany them throughout lessons, while coloured chalk on the blackboard will surely benefit visual learners in understanding topics like Vectors. From Day 1, Wayne has always emphasised the importance of practice, shaping his students into self-disciplined and responsible scholars. At the same time, for any keen learner who raises difficult questions, Wayne never hesitates to extend his help. Overall, I am proud to call Wayne my mentor, and WJE my third home where I spent many afternoons and evenings working on sharpening my Mathematics skills. I strongly recommend WJE to anyone struggling with or seeking a platform to develop their aptitude for the subject.
