When i first took up additional mathematics in upper secondary, i remember struggling with it since it was rather unfamiliar and of course, a different level of difficulty as compared to elementary mathematics. I received consistent E8/F9 for class tests and exams. I felt pretty lost and helpless during classes in school. Thus, i decided to join wayne jones eduhouse as recommended by my brother who also went there for classes during his years in junior college. Classes at wje were pretty much well-organised, specially designed practice papers and notes that were given to me were practical and effective. Wayne is extremely passionate in teaching his students and i personally admire his ability to spot mistakes and weaknesses of his students quickly which helps us as students to promptly rectify them and refine our mathematics’ skills. Not only that, he is also very creative in terms of producing materials that aid our learning such as the formula bookmarks, edubooks etc. Another aspect deserving to mention is the layout of the place, which appears like a café, as such it feels comfortable and less stressful as compared to other basic tuition centres. Within approximately 1.5 years, I managed to pull up my socks, eventually scoring distinction (A1) for both mathematics subjects in gce o’levels. I would say this was only achievable with help of the competent tutors and the conducive environment i was in. Joining wayne jones eduhouse is definitely the way to go!

To say that A Math had been a struggle for me in Secondary 3 would truly be an understatement. A Math was my weakest subject for every term consistently throughout Secondary 3 as I failed to have a firm grasp on the concepts involved. Knowing changes had to be made, I enrolled in Wayne Jones Eduhouse's A Math tuition seeking for an improvement in my grades. The lessons are engaging and informative with friendly teachers, who would gladly lend a helping hand to students with burning questions about their work. I found the short tests issued after every lesson extremely useful as it helped me to understand how I fare in particular topics, and how I can further improve. Thanks to the many practices, intensive lessons and not to mention the supportive and skilled teaching staff, I was able to experience drastic improvements in my A Math. The A Math examination papers that once looked completely foreign to me seemed so much easier because of the many question types that were covered in lessons and in the homework issued. I was able to attain an A1 for A Math in both my Prelims and O levels from an F9 in Secondary 3 End-Of-Year exams and tuition at Wayne Jones Eduhouse has definitely played an instrumental role in helping me achieve this improvement.

When I first joined the A maths class in June 2017, I didn’t know what to expect. I was having difficulty understanding the subject in school and I needed help. At first, it was very tough for me. I was usually the one who would get the lowest score in Wayne’s puzzles and had to do many practices as a result. However, with many months of practicing and homework, I began to understand the subject better and started improving. Wayne’s teaching was very clear and easy for me to understand. He would teach ahead of my school’s curriculum so that I can understand better in class. Within 1 and a half years, I was able to achieve a Distinction for my A maths! I joined WJE when I was Sec 4. Previously I was struggling with some of the concepts taught in amath and didnt score well during exams. However thanks to WJE, I’ve started gaining more confidence in math abilities. He is able to bring across what he wants to teach in a clear and  concise way, as well as provide us with some helpful tips to memorise difficult concepts easily. Through his way of teaching, he has made Amath much more interesting. To add on, the material he provides are extremely useful as he normally includes extra practices and even some emath practices so that we would excel in it.
