"Before joining Wayne Jones Eduhouse (WJE), I was very weak in both emath and amath – scoring only a C5 for emath and E8 for amath during my sec 3 end-of-year exams. Having only a year more to prepare for O levels, I was desperate to get my grades up, prompting me to join a tuition class ASAP. Therefore, through my cousin’s recommendation, I joined WJE. After having experienced many failures in maths, I was not expecting much from Wayne’s. All I wanted was a pass. Never did I expect my sec 4 results to be such a big jump from my previous year! I actually scored an A1 for emath and B3 for amath for the O level, thanks to Wayne’s systematic approach in teaching and constant encouragement! Wayne’s math classes are very clear and concise, even to weak students like me. It helped a lot when he gave personal attention to each and every student, promptly highlighting our weaknesses. Besides his lessons, I thank Wayne for his weekly edutests which impacted me a lot. Although, it may sound like it’s all work and no play, Wayne is actually a very fun-loving person! Attending his lessons is never a bore. He takes effort to make lessons interesting, lively and funny by sharing with us videos, talking about his interests and jokes. As his students, we regard him more of a friend and mentor than a teacher. Wayne is also ever-ready if students pop by any time to do homework/revision/ask him questions – he even go to the extent of creating handy math formulae bookmarks for our convenience.
