Testimonial by an ex-Aiss Student 2014

Being a student in Wayne Jones Eduhouse has been such a privilege for me. Initially, A Maths was tough and challenging for me. The rumours that i heard in lower secondary regarding the difficulty of A Maths had turned out to be true when i first took it in secondary 3. This was evident as i received an F9 grade in my report card after SA1. Despite that huge disappointment and downfall, i did not give up. I put in the effort and brought back home a B4 for my end of year exams in sec 3. The following year i remained determined to excel in my A Maths and aimed to achieve a distinction for my o levels. Around some time in February, I had heard that some of the students who were scoring very well in my class for A Maths had been taking tuition lessons from some place in Yishun called Wayne Jones Edu. I was keen on finding out more about this place so i had one of my friends to introduce me to a man named Wayne and thus began my first of many lessons in WJE. At first it was slightly difficult for me to cope with the lessons as i came in early March and thus, had missed out on some important lessons. But in due time, it all went well. Soon came my Mid-year examinations and i am very glad to say that the A1 grade i received for my Mid-year would not have been possible without the help from Wayne. I figured that the reason why i had improved tremendously is because of the way how Wayne teaches. His lessons are very clear to understand and easy to grasp. At the end of the day, i understood the topic taught much better than when my teachers had taught it to me in school. Some things that facilitated my learning my learning in WJE would be the air-conditioned rooms that allow the students to concentrate more and to be at ease. Also, the interior of WJE has nice features such as the brick wall and the really cool looking floor. All these features improved the environment that we learn in making it suitable for studies. After another half a year of struggle and hardship, i finally graduated from my school with with an A2 grade for A Maths. Who knows? Maybe if i had joined in since sec 3, i might have gotten an A1 for A Maths in o level. In conclusion, WJE is definitely a place for students who are keen on putting in the effort to improve their A Maths and to ultimately score a distinction for it in o levels.
